Ostoform Awarded €2.5M in Grant Funding from the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator Program

Ostoform is delighted to announce it has been awarded €2.5M in non-dilutive grant funding through the prestigious European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator program. The company is among just 75 start-ups and SMEs selected for funding from more than 1,000 applications across Europe.

Ostoform will use this funding to further advance and scale FLOWASSIST, its patented innovation that has shown to significantly reduce the risk of skin complications among ostomy pouch users while extending overall ostomy appliance wear time.

The news means Ostoform can accelerate its mission to make its technology more widely available to those who need it most, while addressing the need for sustainable ostomy appliances across the globe.

About the EIC Accelerator

The EIC Accelerator Programme is part of the EU’s Horizon Europe 2021-2027 Research and Innovation Programme and offers start-ups and SMEs grants of up to €2.5 million combined with direct equity investments through the EIC Fund of up to €15 million or more. In addition to financial support, EIC selected companies receive coaching, mentoring, access to investors and corporates, and many other opportunities as part of the EIC community.
